Activate Yeast:
In a bowl, combine warm water, honey (or sugar), and yeast.
Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Make Dough:
In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.
Add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
Stir until a sticky dough forms.
Knead & First Rise:
Knead dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
Shape & Second Rise:
Punch down the dough and place it on a greased baking sheet or pan.
Flatten into a rectangle or round shape, about ½ inch thick.
Cover and let it rise for 30–45 minutes.
Dimple & Add Toppings:
Use your fingers to press deep dimples into the dough.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle rosemary and flaky sea salt.
Bake:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
Cool & Serve:
Let cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
