  1. 1. Boil the Pasta
  2. Fill a large pot with water (about 4-5 cups per 100g of pasta).
  3. Add 1-2 tsp salt to enhance the flavor.
  4. Bring the water to a rolling boil.
  5. Add the pasta and stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  6. Cook according to the package instructions until al dente (firm to the bite).
  7. 2. Drain the Pasta
  8. Reserve ½ cup pasta water (optional, helps in making the sauce creamy).
  9. Drain the pasta using a colander.
  10. Do not rinse unless making a cold pasta salad.
  11. 3. Prepare the Sauce
  12. In a pan, heat olive oil or butter.
  13. Add garlic, onions, or other ingredients as per the recipe.
  14. Pour in tomato sauce, cream, or pesto and cook until combined.
  15. 4. Combine Pasta & Sauce
  16. Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the sauce.
  17. Toss everything well, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
  18. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  19. 5. Serve & Enjoy
  20. Garnish with Parmesan cheese, fresh herbs, or chili flakes.
