1. Boil the Pasta
Fill a large pot with water (about 4-5 cups per 100g of pasta).
Add 1-2 tsp salt to enhance the flavor.
Bring the water to a rolling boil.
Add the pasta and stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Cook according to the package instructions until al dente (firm to the bite).
2. Drain the Pasta
Reserve ½ cup pasta water (optional, helps in making the sauce creamy).
Drain the pasta using a colander.
Do not rinse unless making a cold pasta salad.
3. Prepare the Sauce
In a pan, heat olive oil or butter.
Add garlic, onions, or other ingredients as per the recipe.
Pour in tomato sauce, cream, or pesto and cook until combined.
4. Combine Pasta & Sauce
Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the sauce.
Toss everything well, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
Let it cook for 1-2 minutes to absorb the flavors.
5. Serve & Enjoy
Garnish with Parmesan cheese, fresh herbs, or chili flakes.
